1). Santhome Church

While Chennai is quite famous for most of the temples, there are many churches here to look out for too. All these churches are perfect examples of the well-preserved history of Chennai. World-famous Santhome Church, which is known to be amongst the only three St.Thomas Basilicas throughout the world (the other two being in Rome and Spain) is located in Chennai. 

2). Prime Time

 Exclusively constructed for children, Prime Time is an indoor amusement park that is located in the suburbs of Annanagar, Chennai. Being the closest amusement park that too within the city, a lot of people prefer to visit this place for a picnic. Prime Time is easy to access, has lots of bus services. 3). Government Museum

Government Museum was founded in 1851 and is considered to be India's second oldest museum. Also known as Egmore Museum and Madras Museum, it is spread across 17 acres of land and comprises six buildings with around 46 galleries. It houses a wide range of Roman antiques, Amravati paintings, palm-leaf manuscripts, wooden carvings, and other historical articles that are believed to be several 100 years old. Not only these, but there are also many interesting artifacts from Archaeology, Botany, Geology, Zoology, Numismatics, Ethnology, Folk art, and contemporary art galleries. 4). Madras War Cemetery

Madras War Cemetery was built to honor the lives of all those people who sacrificed their lives in World War II. Established in 1952, it is home to almost 856 Commonwealth burials of II World War. People from various nationalities like the UK, Canada, New Zealand, West Africa, and India are buried here. Though this is considered a restricted area, those who are history buffs or who prefer silence should pay a visit to this place.
